Nanowire™ is Liberty’s fully automated bioinformatics pipeline that can be used for a variety of genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic and metabolomic analyses. Nanowire™ consists of a propriety collection of customizable software modules. The functionality of these modules includes, but are not limited to, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) analysis, RNAseq analysis, in silco mass spectrometry functional protein identification, MAPS (Mass spectrometry, Annotated genome, Protein express, Systems biology) analysis, phylogenetic analysis, and metabolic pathway/phenotypic characterization. The Nanowire™ pipeline utilizes advanced computing technology and a proprietary architecture to provide rapid data analysis and can be run on a cloud-based platform or as part of a local system. Our computational pipelines have seen the execution of operations that take months on commodity hardware reduced to a matter of hours.
Operationally, a user of Nanowire™ would select the modules desired for a specific project via a graphical user interface after which the necessary data would be dragged and dropped into the system. The Nanowire™ pipeline would then process the data according to the user specifications and provide a final report. During the analysis, every process, generated file and file modification is monitored and reported by the Nanowire™ Internal Data Management system (IDM). IDM efficiently curates all inputs and outputs into a logical and easy-to-use data lake and streamlines data storage and results reporting for the user.
